Individual And Small Group Academy
Individual and group player packages can be tailored to suit your needs. Packages can also include a playing and training programme, using top quality coaching staff, as well as linking you to a clubs in Melbourne.
The M.I.C.A will develop your cricket ability, and help you reach your full potential during your time in Australia, assisting you to be the best player you can be.
- Overview of Academy Options:
The MICA offers three major options for individual or small group players:
- Short Term Placement (2-4 weeks)
- Half Summer Placement (October – December)
- Full Summer Placement (October – March)
Each package includes personalized coaching, access to world-class facilities, and opportunities to play in the Australian cricket system, ensuring an enriching and immersive “Aussie Cricket Experience.”
- Short Term Placement (2-4 Weeks)
This programme is designed to provide a first-class coaching experience for players with limited time in Melbourne. The focus is on skill development and improving base fitness through intensive daily sessions, mixing outdoor, indoor, and club practice. You’ll also benefit from advanced Dartfish video analysis software to track your progress.

- One-on-one daily private tuition
- Tailored fitness programme designed to improve strength and endurance
- Unlimited access to the state-of-the-art indoor training facility
- Placement at a selected local cricket club for match experience
- Modern fully self-contained accommodation
- Optional add-ons:
- Sessions with ex-Australian Test cricketers
- Tickets to the Melbourne Test (if your dates coincide with the event)
- Mid-week games for additional match practice
- MCG Tour
- Half Summer Placement (October - December)
This three-month programme allows players to immerse themselves in the Australian cricket experience. It includes more sessions at the indoor facility, more face-to-face coaching, and a longer-term club cricket placement. The extended duration provides more opportunities to work on your game with expert coaching and compete in weekend competition games.

- Sessions with ex-Australian Test cricketers

Optional Add-Ons:
- Full gym membership, including assessments
- Coach education training for those interested in a coaching pathway
- Practical coaching experience (available in January)
- Full Summer Placement (October - March)
The Full Summer Placement offers the ultimate experience for any serious cricket player. With over 100 face-to-face sessions with MICA’s expert coaches, you’ll receive in-depth coaching in all aspects of the game. Players are placed with local cricket clubs for the entire season, giving you the opportunity to compete in the strongest domestic club system in the world.

- One-on-one daily private tuition
- Access to the purpose-built indoor facility for year-round training
- Placement at selected cricket clubs for the full season
- Sessions with ex-Australian Test cricketers
- Tickets to Melbourne Test match and Boxing Day Test tickets
- Weekend competition games and mid-week matches
- Modern fully self-contained accommodation
- Full gym membership, including assessments
- Coach education training
- Practical coaching experience in January
- Full season club placement, providing a complete Australian cricket experience
- Tour of the MCG

Prices start from as little as $3,000 AUD, excluding flights. Programmes are tailored to meet individual needs, so the price may vary depending on your specific requirements.
