Coaching Panel

Over the past 32 years our stellar coaching panel has consisted of over 50 former International Test Cricketers. Please see below a comprehensive list of all of our former coaches spanning from all over the world!

On the clinics we also have up to 100 Senior cricketers and current SBCC staff coaches who will be serving as group coaches on each of the camps.

*Please Note: Not all coaches will be at all camps. Please telephone our office to confirm who will be coaching at your camp or click HERE for a full list.

Recent coaches over the past 2 years of the camps have included:

Graham Yallop

Former test Captain of Australia with a highest test score of 268. An elegant player who was a master of all strokes and is our most experienced coach.

Merv Hughes

Merv’s 212 Test wickets put him up with the all-time greats of Australian cricket. Merv will delight all with his manner and insight into cricket & his expertise in coaching fast bowlers of all ages.

Michael Beer

A duel representative of both Victoria and WA at First class level who after strong performances and a 5 wicket haul against the touring English team was called up to play 2 Test’s for Australia. Very accurate left arm orthodox spin saw him a mainstay for both the Perth Scorchers & Melbourne Stars where he took the new ball in the BBL.

Mick Lewis

A tear away fast bowlers who carried the Victorian attack in the early 2000’s, Mick was selected for 7 ODi’s for Australia taking a 3 wicket haul to ensure a NZ defeat in his first match. His 82 first-class games came to a halt due to injury. He took up several coaching roles as a fast bowling assistant.
