Five weeks touring and on safari with Brian from AFRICA ROAR was amazing! How can a few words describe the greatest experience of my life. Johanasburg to Cape Town, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window, Victoria Falls, The Zambezi River, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Eswatini, Kruger National Park, Sabi Sands, epic train journey, private tours, within one meter of wild lions, hippo’s, elephants, leopards. As I part ways with this beautiful land of cultural experiences, I wipe a tear from my eye as my heart is flooded with an array of new emotions. My heart opened more and more with each day spent here. The people of swaziland have so much respect for the third world in which they live in. They grow everything that they possibly can do and wastage is low because they can’t afford to waste a thing. They appreciate every little thing they have and that which is given to them. Seriously a land of beauty. Their homes are erected from anything they can get their hands on. Their use of bits of wood, tin and stone is out of this world. These human beings are seriously beautiful vibrant souls of the earth. There is so much I have learnt from such a beautiful society. My heart has opened and my mind altered…… I left my heart in Swaziland. The best experience of my lifetime and I could not imagined a better tour guide than Brian. Seriously one of the best blokes you will meet.

Our family of 4 stayed at Tambuti Tented Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The tented lodge was a magical treat that connected us even more to the spirit of Africa and the nature surrounding us. Everything we could have needed was there for us. The kitchen is well equipped, the tented lodges are stylish, everything is clean and tidy. Even the fire pit is cleared daily and wood replenished, ready for us to enjoy come night time when we dined and talked into the late hours with its warmth. During the day we walked the paths to encounter many antelope and giraffes (they were the children’s favourite!), along with access to the 4WD for dawn and dusk drives. We highly recommend a visit to connect to nature and the friendly people of Swaziland – Five Stars from us!
